A weather pattern is created through a complex set of forces interacting within an environment.. Weather patterns tune the environment. This exhibition uses the context of the weather pattern to set up an ongoing tension between a series of objects and forces that play out within the gallery over time. The ‘weather pattern’ we propose investigates the problem of how in an artistic system might create what Manning has termed a ‘minor gesture’, a capacity for the event to activate its own internal motivations.
